The Applied Innovation Center (AIC) is Egypt’s premier catalyst for bridging cutting‑edge information and communication technologies with the nation’s most pressing challenges. Established in April 2020, by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT), we serve as the strategic engine of the country’s National AI Strategy, turning research breakthroughs into scalable solutions that improve health care, modernize the judiciary system, personalize education, reshape urban planning, and more. By leveraging high‑performance computing, fostering a vibrant ecosystem of local talent, and forging partnerships, we accelerate the development of pilot‑scale projects that become production‑ready services. Our mission is simple yet ambitious: empower Egypt’s workforce, and deliver tangible, measurable impact that drives sustainable growth and positions Egypt at the forefront of the global innovation landscape.
